| General Information |
Registration will be made through the Southern Kane County Training Association. Enrollment is based on a first-come/first-serve basis.
TRAINING FEES:
The training fee will be determined by the particular course. Payment must be received prior to the beginning of each class. Purchase orders or checks will be accepted, paid to the order of Southern Kane County Training Association.
LOCATION OF CLASS:
Each Fire Officer I course will be conducted at the locations stated. Address for each course will be included with acceptance letter.
CANCELLATION OF CLASS ATTENDANCE:
If a student needs to withdraw from a class, the Southern Kane County Training Association MUST receive notification of the withdrawal no later than one week prior to the start of the class. Failure to notify the Southern Kane County Training Association as noted above will result in you or your department being billed regardless. Cancellation of class attendance may be made by telephone, U.S. mail, or Fax.
LODGING:
You are responsible for making your lodging arrangements. If lodging is required, information on area lodging availability can be obtained by calling (630) 897-0674.
APPLICABLE CERTIFICATION LEVEL:
The Illinois Fire Service Institute will deliver each Fire Officer I class. Each course has received "Course Approval" from OSFM, Division of Personnel Standards & Education. Course completion requirements will be met when the student has successfully completed the course requirements of each class and payment of the course fees have been received by the Southern Kane County Training Association.
